The house in Helvoirt where a hemp farm was found on Monday afternoon is owned by party leader Martien Vromans van Samenlokaal in Vught. Vromans confirms this after questions from Omroep Brabant. Vromans says he knew nothing about the hemp farm and indicates that the police are investigating the case.
On Monday afternoon a hemp farm of around a thousand plants was found in the house on the Weegbree. Vromans rented the house. He was called by his wife on Monday afternoon asking if he could come to his own house because the police wanted to speak to him.
Once home he had to answer questions from the police, he didn’t have to go to the desk. “I didn’t know that there was a hemp farm in the house. I have answered all the questions from the police, I have no secrets. But you don’t expect this, I think it is disrespectful how people can deal with other people’s house. This does something to me.”

Samenlokaal is a one -man fraction in the Vught city council. In June 2023, Vromans joined the Gemeentebelangen party after the choice for aldermanship had fallen on another. Vromans decided to keep his seat and started his own party together. He was previously alderman of the municipality of Haaren at the time.
