A house on the Kamerlingswijk Westzijde in Zwartemeer was damaged last night after a car fire. Part of the roof suffered damage.
Emergency services were alerted around 2:20 am and the fire was quickly scaled up to a medium fire. The fire brigade from Emmen and Emmer-Compascuum also arrived on scene.
Both the car and part of the roof could not be saved. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
