House in Coevorden full of smoke after a pan on fire: seven dogs rescued, one dies

A pan that was left on the fire for too long caused a house on Betsy Trompetterstraat in Coevorden to fill with smoke at the beginning of the evening yesterday. That cost the life of one dog. The four-legged friend had inhaled too much smoke and could no longer be saved.

An employee of the Animal Ambulance said this. There were also seven other dogs in the house at the time of the fire, including a mother with four puppies, but they were able to be brought to safety in time.

The residents of the home were also unharmed.
