During a house fire at the Rentmeesterhof in Tilburg, a 23-year-old man was arrested on Saturday evening who had two firearms. In the man’s car, a lot of money and a burning joint was also found.
Police officers responded on Saturday evening to a report about a fire at the Rentmeesterhof. When they arrived there, a man turned out to have taken a bag with things from a nearby home in the street. The fire brigade was still putting out at that time.
“While he did, the agents suddenly smoke a strong hemp air,” the police report. “They decided to check the man, who had since got into a car. In the car they not only found a burning joint, but also a lot of money and two firearms.”
The 23-year-old Tilburger was immediately arrested. He’s still stuck. The police are investigating the origin of the weapons and the money.
