The fire broke out around 2.15 am. The fire brigade and ambulance rushed to it. Local residents tried to wake up residents of the surrounding buildings.
“A total of six people had to spend the night elsewhere,” said a spokesperson for the Hollands-Midden Safety Region.
The house where the fire started has completely burned out. Three other homes sustained significant water damage.
