Hostage opposition members after 412 days liberated from Embassy: ‘Rescue operation that has not been shown before’

Five prominent Venezuelan opposition members who, for fear of the authoritarian regime of Nicolás Maduro, were hiding in the Argentinian embassy in Caracas for more than a year, are liberated and are now on “American soil.” The Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado and the American Foreign Minister Marco Rubio have announced this.
