A horse trailer and a Tesla caught fire in an accident on the A50 near Veghel. The highway is closed in both directions. “There are long traffic jams,” reports the ANWB.
The horses that were transported in the trailer are safe, Rijkswaterstaat reports. The northbound highway is close between Eerde and the Julian J. Ewell Bridge. To the south, the highway is closed between exit Veghel-Noord (12) and Eerde.
Traffic has to detour over the A2 and the A59 via Den Bosch. There are long traffic jams on the A50 in both directions and the delay in the north direction is more than an hour.
