Visser rushed to a time of 12.28 in the second series. This made her 0.08 faster than the old record that she ran in Switzerland on July 14 last year: 12.36.
Strikingly enough, the Hordeloopster had also put her own Dutch record sharper earlier that day, after she had set the Dutch record at 12.46 two weeks earlier on the Fanny Blankers Koen Games.
In Poland, Visser defeated the American Masai Russell (12.36) and Megan Tapper from Jamaica (12.41) in her series. In the other series, the Jamaican Ackera Nugent was the fastest (12.34). Later today the final is on the program in Chorzow.
