Train travelers in Deurne had to rub in their eyes on Monday morning: a kangaroo hoped at the station at six in the morning. The trains had to run slowly until the animal was caught again not much later.

Also for the employees of the Dutch Railways and ProRail it was unique to have to adjust the train traffic due to a jumping kangaroo. “He was indeed on track 3,” says owner Henk Schroijen of station restoration Daily Deurne Deurne Media Group.

The kangaroo could eventually be caught a little further in the neighborhood and returned to the owner. It is unclear when exactly the animal was caught.
