MIlano, 18 Jun. (askanews) – The company changes, and with it also honeymoon, which however remain an important element in people’s lives. Cartorangeoperator specialized in travel advice, published the second edition of his Observatory on the Honey of Italians of the Italians, from which a portrait of today’s Honeymooners emerges. “Identitikit is soon done – Gianpaolo Romano, CEO of Cartorange, told askanews – is basically a millennial one, an average age of 38 years, who has much more precise ideas on his honeymoon, that is, he wants a dynamic honeymoon, absolutely responsive to his desires and dreams, and for this reason he is looking for a tailor -made trip and is therefore also available to invest in this trip. The observatory this year the average expenditure per person was equal to 5,062 euros, therefore growing compared to the previous year of a 5%”.

A 22% is however represented by more adult people, boomers and generation X, but also digital natives overlook the experience of the honeymoon. “8 % of customers who have made a honeymoon with us – added the Cartorange CEO – belongs to this generation and here we see discontinuity that will also be very interesting in the future, because this generation is more attentive to the price, more attentive to the digital approach and more attentive also to decay the journey”.

The research also of low season solutions and with more attention to the budget is a new element, while the absolute preferred destinations are consolidated: “Asia remains as destination -Romano told us -. Asia is at the top in the wishes of the wedding travelers, all the destinations of Asia, but above all Japan. As many as 24 couples in 100 choose Japan as the destination of their honeymoon. There are the United States which, however, although descending of a percentage point remain a dream destination for Italians especially in Southern Italy, in Central Southern Italy “.

However, also here, significant news arrives as a strong growth in South American destinations, with Peru in particular evidence. But the surprises are not finished: “The honeymoon – concluded Gianpaolo Romano – must be an increasingly dynamic journey, so the idea that the sea is the protagonist of the honeymoon is a bit after, so much so that 55 % of wedding travelers choose travel without the sea”. According to the Cartorange Observatory, the number of honeymooners made with the children also grows and it emerges that more and more Italians travel abroad even with young children.
