In June enters into force settingthat changes the packaging of honey jars.
The country of origin of honey mixes can no longer be reported, for example, in the form of “a mixture of honey from the EU and outside the EU.”
In the future, the front of the honey packaging must be reported in a declining order and percentage of each honey in the weight of all honey mixtures in the weight of the weight.
Thanks to the new regulation, the consumer makes it easier to see where the honey has come to the jar.
The regulation will take effect on June 14, 2026. Prior to that date and packed products may be sold out.
Scam honey
