ABN research into real estate: high costs and high demand

Amsterdam – It is becoming increasingly difficult to rent a house or apartment in the Netherlands. The situation is dire in cities such as Utrecht, Arnhem, Den Bosch and Apeldoorn. Project developers are postponing new construction projects because of the rapidly rising costs of people and materials. The flow of tourists and expats is also getting going again, which means that much more expensive living space passes by the noses of home seekers.
