The fans will certainly welcome this: To do something good for the fans in their anniversary year, Holstein Kiel has come up with something very special.
The year is coming to an end and a second division team would like to give its fans a special gift before Christmas: Holstein Kiel is inviting fans to beer and water at the last home game – free for one hour.
The background is the club’s 125th birthday, which Kiel is celebrating this year. “In our anniversary year, we as a club would like to give something back to the fans for their constant support,” said President Steffen Schneekloth on Thursday evening at the cup quarter-finalists’ general meeting. “That’s why there will be free beer and water inside the stadium for an hour at the last home game.”
The game against Dynamo Dresden starts on December 20th at 8:30 p.m. (live on the t-online live ticker and on Nitro and Sky). According to the announcement, drinks will be served “exclusively between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Budenzauber stands within the stadium area.” One drink is served per order. In addition, the legal minimum age for alcoholic beverages applies.
