Holland’s Got Talent will not return to television for the time being, presenter Jamai Loman revealed in conversation with the newspaper. And according to Tina Nijkamp, that is indeed true. “Not anymore this year.”
The RTL 4 show Holland’s Got Talent is one of the more watched entertainment programs on Dutch television, but it looks like we won’t get a season this year. Presenter Jamai Loman reveals in the AD that he is mainly busy with projects other than this talent show for various acts.
After the summer
When Jamai is asked what is planned for this year, he says A.D: “I have been under contract with RTL for fifteen or sixteen years now and there are great things coming up. What I am really looking forward to is The Voice Kids, which starts after the summer. There is nothing more fun than discovering young talent.”
He continues: “There will be a new season of Stars on Stage in the fall. And we have just finished filming The House of Hide & Seek, a major project together with Buddy Vedder.”

What can Jamai tell you about Hide & Seek? “Yes, it was invented by David Grifhorst and produced by John de Mol. A huge house has been built in Ede. To make it flat: we play hide and seek with famous guests who raise money for charity. A major project.”
And about Holland’s Got Talent? Nothing at all. TV authority Tina Nijkamp finds it striking. “The Voice Kids starts after the summer. It is striking that this place is normally for Holland’s Got Talent. So that will probably be postponed to the beginning of next year. Jamai does not mention the show either. Also in the autumn and not this spring: Stars on Stage.”
Not until 2027
According to Tina, the recordings of Stars on Stage have already taken place. “Last October and November.”
So everything comes into focus a little later than expected. A little later, Tina reports: “I get more or less confirmation that Holland’s Got Talent will indeed only be shown in 2027!”
