Munich (AP) – National soccer player Jonas Hofmann believes in a timely decision about his future at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
“I think that the talks will continue in the coming weeks and will also be finalized,” said the offensive player when he visited the Munich tennis tournament. He is in “honest exchange” with those responsible.
Hofmann has been playing in Mönchengladbach since 2016. His contract with the Bundesliga club expires in summer 2023. The 29-year-old continues to avoid a clear commitment to the club, which had been in the relegation battle for a long time this season. “We’ve had other problems lately,” said Hofmann. “I subordinate everything to that.”
