Kramaric should follow

TSG Hoffenheim signed Leon Avdullahu (22) from FC Basel and Albian Hajdari (22) from FC Lugano last summer for a total of 13 million euros. Transfer money well invested, because the Kosovar duo is one of the regular staff of the Champions League aspirant and increased its market value from 22 million euros back then to 45 million euros today. According to “Sky” information, the contracts dated until 2029 were extended until 2031 – the highlight: exit clauses should not be included. The development of the two is emblematic of the upswing of the Kraichgau team, who increased their squad value from 156 million to 246 million euros over the course of the season.

Sixer Avdullahu has been linked to Atalanta Bergamo and Atlético Madrid, among others, and was able to increase his market value from 10 million to 25 million euros. This makes him one of the five most valuable Bundesliga professionals in his position. TSG completed the transfer, which cost 8 million euros, in mid-June 2025 and beat Borussia Mönchengladbach in their advertising. The 1.85 meter tall midfielder was a regular player from the start.

His compatriot Hajdari, who was in Werder’s hands, only joined the team on August 25th. By signing the 1.89 meter tall central defender, TSG responded to the cruciate ligament injury suffered by new signing Koki Machida (28) on matchday 1. Hoffenheim brought in Hajdari for a transfer fee of 5 million euros – the fact that this was comparatively low was probably due to an exit clause. The duo’s new working papers should not contain this.

While the new contracts for the defensive staff have already been signed according to “Sky”, the next signature from record player and goalscorer Andrej Kramaric (34) will follow soon. The Croatian international made it clear in the “Kicker” interview at the beginning of 2026 what his future plans were: “I just want to continue playing football, preferably in Hoffenheim, I’m still extremely motivated here. If it were in my power, I would sign immediately.” After his active career he wants to become a coach – and “I would like to do so in Hoffenheim”.
