Väätäinen won the South African in the final of the World Cup Doron Claxton.

– I’m from Finland, so I’m not talking a lot, the fresh world champion started his speech.
– Thank you all the players. I am grateful and it is an honor to be with this, the Finn continued.
This is the Finnish first world championship.
The backgammon game is based on speed and tactics. There are indications of more familiar games, Kimble and Shok for Finns. The board has characteristic triangles, and the vision may be familiar to many from the grandmother’s loft.
