The Munich Menswear specialist Hirmer bundles his management of the trade division and says goodbye to two managers.
Partners Ulrich Hirmer and Gerhard Kränzle are now taking over the management together for all performance brands by Hirmer Handel, the company announced on Thursday. These include the Hirmer parent company, large sizes and Eckerle.
“This strong management team will pull together and thus raise the whole potential of Hirmer trade as the leading men’s fashion specialist in Germany,” said Kränzle. “With the measures initiated, we will soon make change and development noticeable and visible. Shareholders and management work hand in hand on this future strategy. “
Two managing directors go
The authorized representatives Jens Beukema and David Thomas support the dual leadership, while the logistics and service company Hirmer Eckerle Service continues to be managed by Clemens Ode as managing director. Meanwhile, the company is saying goodbye to the previous managing directors Daniel Kanis, responsible for Eckerle, Hirmer Eckerle Service, and Andreas Bernkopf, previously responsible for Hirmer’s great sizes.
“With an optimally coordinated strategy, structures and processes, we become even more attractive for our business partners: inside, our employees and, last but not least, our customers,” said Hirmer. “This is how we gain weight and will improve our market position.”
The message follows, after it was only known in early February that Ulrich Hirmer would be the sole management of the Hirmer Stammhaus in Munich. At that time it was said that he was supported by a multi-member management team including Kränzle.
Hirmer is currently in the process of transforming his trade division and sees the reorganization of the management as an intensification of the process. Last year, the company closed several Eckerle locations, including the Munich parent company.
