Tomorrow we will say goodbye to the two Hilversum sisters Cécile (14) and Livia (12), who died at the beginning of this month in an accident with a wrong-way driver on the highway. This happens with a farewell service in Schouwburg Gooiland. Afterwards, a large guard of honor is formed around the funeral procession.
Many interested parties are expected in front of the guard of honor. A separate place will be designated for them opposite the theater where they can follow the funeral procession and take a seat in the guard of honor.
The family asks for respect for their privacy in this very traumatic event for them. The girls’ farewell service and funeral are private.
Great disappointment
Cécile and Livia died two weeks ago, the wrong-way driver also did not survive the accident. The parents of the Hilversum teenagers were also seriously injured. The family has not made any statements about how they are doing.
The teenagers were students from Hilversum Comenius College. The dejection and sadness in high school is great.
