Hilary Duff re-records her greatest hits: “Come Clean” and “What Dreams Are Made Of” appear on “Mine” in an adult sound. The silver vinyl edition arrives for Record Store Day.

Hilary Duff is re-recording an entire album. The newly recorded tracks also include “Come Clean”, one of their most celebrated songs – now with a more adult sound. The track appears on the new album “Mine”, a collection of her greatest hits re-recorded.

The exclusive silver vinyl edition will be released on Friday, April 18th – Record Store Day. Only 10,000 copies will be available, so fans will have to act quickly to get their hands on another copy. In addition to “Come Clean,” “What Dreams Are Made Of,” one of her most famous songs, will also be reinterpreted.

The tracklist of “Mine”

The album’s tracklist includes:

  • “Come Clean”
  • “Sparks”
  • “Why not”
  • “What Dreams Are Made Of”
  • “So Yesterday”
  • “With Love”
  • “Wake up”

“Come Clean” as the soundtrack to the Laguna Beach reunion

The “Mine” version of “Come Clean” can also be heard in the series “The Reunion: Laguna Beach,” also premiering on Friday, April 10. The song once served as the theme song for the reality show in the early 2000s. Duff himself admitted on “Watch What Happens Live” in 2023 that he hadn’t followed the format at all at the time.

“Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” is an American reality television series produced by MTV from 2004 to 2006. The series followed young people in their everyday lives in Laguna Beach, one of the wealthiest places on the West Coast, and had a lasting impact on the pop culture of the Millennial generation.

Musical comeback with momentum

Hilary Duff is currently on a strong musical comeback. In February, she released her first album in ten years and reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with “Luck… or Something.” Her seven-month “Lucky Me Tour” starts in June.
