Highest figure ever: 1 in 3 new investors is female. “A profit of 300 percent in four years, isn’t it cool?”

It was once a real man’s world, but now Flemish women are increasingly finding their way to the stock exchange. This is evident from new figures from Saxo Bank: one in three new customers this year is female. Some with a steady hand, others with gut feeling and sometimes even with a 300 percent profit on one share. Four personal stories from Hanne Noyen (27) from Zwijnaarde, Camille Van Brabander (33) from Maria-Aalter, Katrien Pareit (50) from Oostrozebeke and Louise Van Hemeldonck (34) from Antwerp: “I sold with fear once and I regret it.”
