High visit for the newborn Lucas Krol from Klompengat (Best): Prince Jeroen and Jeugdprins SQM came to visit to appoint him as the youngest Dûrdauwer 2025, a title for the baby that is born closest to Carnival Sunday.
Mother Renske is very proud of the title and happy that he was born last Thursday. “Actually, Monday was the due day, we already hoped that he would come a little earlier, just in time for the title,” she says laughing.
This year, modest carnival is celebrated in Huize Krol. “We look Brabant Omroep,” says Renske. “But next year Lucas will go on the road with headphones on.”
