High-speed train connects Berlin and Paris from today: “Eight-hour journey represents a different lifestyle”

From today, the French capital Paris and the German capital Berlin will be connected by high-speed train for the first time. The journey will take about eight hours, the French railway company SNCF Voyageurs and the German operator Deutsche Bahn announced. The line will be inaugurated this morning with a first train leaving Paris at 9:55 am. In the opposite direction, a train will leave Berlin at 11:54 am.
