The hooggeplaatste Taliban-Geestelijke Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani is Thursday in the Afghaanse hoofdstad Kabul omgekomen by a zelfmoordaanslag. De aanslag, warbij also zijn broer will be understood, is opgeëist by the Islamic State (IS). Haqqani state bekend om zijn vurige toespraken tegen de jihadist groepering. Three other rockets were used in the explosion.
