High government spending shouldn’t be a big problem, according to economists

The Central Planning Bureau (CPB) warned on Tuesday that the plans of the new cabinet will increase the national debt in the coming years. By 2060, if policy would not change, that debt would amount to 92 percent of gross domestic product (GDP). That sounds dramatic, but according to economists that is not necessarily a bad thing.
