IFK Helsinki’s game is on hold. After five matches played, there is only one win. The fourth loss of the season came on Saturday against Koovola KooKoo.

KooKoo humiliated IFK in Helsinki with a score of 5–1. The home team led the match in the second period, but a three-goal raid at the end of the period turned the match for KooKoo. The people of Kouvola punished HIFK mercilessly for its blunders and mistakes.

Difficulties emerged after the match, when the official to the press conference only KooKoo’s head coach arrived Olli Salo.

Ville Peltonen was somewhere else.

– Other than that, we played closely, but it was a bit of a struggle to figure out how to play against HIFK’s tearing late start. In the third set, we found a way to block it. Above all, a great end to the week from us, Salo praised his own.

The chief pilot has reason to be satisfied. After five matches, KooKoo has 11 points, and it entitles it to the triple status.

HIFK already took last place in the league on Friday and will continue there after Saturday as well.
