Tijdens het WK voted for Aboubakr Bensaihi (26) for Morocco and for Belgium supporters. Ondertussen follow El Arbi and Fallah also Kamals moeder Leïla (Lubna Azabal) and zijn small brother Nassim (Amir El Arbi), who radicaliseert in Molenbeek.

“Dat what wel awkward, dat dat mijn real voornaam was. He zijn heel veel names that begin with ‘Abu’, en ze zeiden: we nemen gewoon Abu-Bakr. I say: oké, chill. Maar als ik het nu kon alteren, zou ik het misshien wel doen.
“Aboubakr is intrinsically the best vriend van de profeet Mohammed. In ons geloof is hij de eerste die zich heeft bekeerd dead de Islam.”
Bent u zelf religieus opgevoed?
“Religious opinion, that is a breed concept. Naturally, this is done in our tradition, in our culture, in our geloof, but not in an extremist world. I ben gelovig, maar I respecteer also all other religions.”
El Arbi en Fallah tells in some interviews that ze zelf people know the Vanuit Antwerpen from Vilvoorde to Syrië trokken. Hoe zit dat bij u?
“I don’t know anyone personally, but I don’t know the family of the people who are going to dry up.
