American second division side Louisville City FC have signed right-back Jan-Erik Leinhos. The 24-year-old, who has already gained regional league experience with Hessen Kassel in Germany, has been a regular at Marshall University for the past four years, with which he won the College Cup in 2020.
“We are very happy to announce Jan-Erik’s signing,” said coach Danny Cruz, whom Leinhos was able to convince in the trial session. “He’s a player who worked extremely hard throughout preseason to earn this contract.”
He’s earned it.
