Fabian Reese and Haris Tabakovic are currently ensuring success at Hertha BSC. After reaching the round of 16 of the DFB Cup, there was a lot of praise from the coach.
Hertha coach Pal-Dardai described his accurate offensive duo Haris Tabakovic and Fabian Reese as artists on the ball after another strong performance in the DFB Cup.
“You can’t learn that. That’s nose, that’s feeling, that’s talent. “May God be so kind that they stay healthy,” said the Hungarian after the 3-0 win against Bundesliga club 1. FSV Mainz 05 and said: “What they both do is art.”
As with the victory in the 2nd Bundesliga against Paderborn, Reese and Tabakovic almost single-handedly secured their place in the cup round of 16.
Reese, who was later named “Man of the match”, put the Berliners in the lead. Tabakovic increased his score with his fifth brace of the season.
Together they have already scored 17 goals for the capital city this season – 13 of which were scored by Tabakovic. “I can’t score any goals without balls from Fabi and the others. “I’m kind of dead there. I live off the assists,” said the Swiss striker about being together with his teammates.
