Hertha BSC strengthens the flank with Ejuke – Comes on loan from CSKA Moscow

National player of Nigeria

Hertha BSC has found reinforcements for the flank in Chidera Ejuke (24). As the Berliners announced on Wednesday, the attacker is moving from CSKA Moscow to Berlin on loan for a season. The “Bild” recently reported that the deal should not include a purchase option.

“Chidera has already proven himself in several European leagues, brings good technique and versatility and a lot of pace. We are convinced that he will enrich our game with his skills,” said sporting director Fredi Bobic about the fourth signing for the new season. Ejuke moved from SC Heerenveen to Moscow in 2020 for 11.5 million euros, where his contract runs until 2024.

The Nigeria international has made 65 appearances for CSKA, scoring ten goals and providing eight assists. Most recently, his market value fell from 9 to currently 7.5 million euros, which is surpassed by four players in the current Hertha squad.
