Left-back Fredrik Björkan (24) has not been in any of the previous five competitive games in the Hertha squad. Now he has left Berlin and is hired by Feyenoord Rotterdam in Holland.
On Saturday he was in the stands for the home game against Emmen (4-0). On Sunday he was absent from Hertha training, where coach Sandro Schwarz (43) confirmed: “Yes, he will leave Hertha.”
Norway national team, who came to Hertha from Bodo/Glimt on a free transfer in January 2022, is now on loan to Feyenoord for a year to gain match practice. The Dutch are said to have secured a purchase option for up to million euros.
In Rotterdam, Björkan meets ex-Hertha player Javairo Dilrosun (24), who switched to Feyenoord for four million euros.
