The German women’s national team will only qualify directly for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil as group winners. The qualifying starts next Tuesday against Slovenia. Four days later, national coach Christian Wück’s selection has to play against Norway in Stavanger.

The TSG Hoffenheim striker, who currently leads the Bundesliga’s top scorers list along with Leverkusen’s Vanessa Fudalla, is out due to injury.
