After the Super Bowl is before the NFL Draft! The spectacular distribution of the best young and amateur players in the best football league in the world will take place again this year. For the ever-growing NFL community in Germany, the NFL Draft 2023 is the first mandatory date of the new season. The big NFL Draft is about acquiring the greatest talent from the college teams for the 32 teams of the best American football league in the world, which have not yet had a professional contract with an NFL team.
In a total of seven rounds, the 32 franchises each have a pick, i.e. the right to choose a player for themselves. The entire event runs over three days and is considered a huge event in the USA.
This year is with RTL for the first time a German station with a large team on site and will report live and exclusively from Kansas City.
The Cologne TV broadcaster has secured the broadcasting rights to the NFL for the coming years. These include the preparation, the pre-season, the regular season including playoffs and the Super Bowl as the absolute highlight of the season.
RTL will broadcast up to three live games per week on television for the upcoming season, with one additional game being broadcast online and exclusively on RTL+ to be seen in the live stream.
