How does the Poznan go? Liam Gallagher preferred to explain the Canadian Oasis fans exactly.
Liam Gallagher explained to the Oasis fans in Toronto how to perform the famous “Poznan” dance. The Move is an integral part of the current Oasis Live ’25 tour and everyone knows it in Great Britain. But what does it look like in Canada?

Recommendations of the editorial team
The North America stage started on Sunday (August 24th) in the Canadian metropolis, followed by a second concert in the Rogers stage on Monday (August 25th). On both evenings, “Cigarettes & Alcohol” was one of the musical highlights. This is exactly where the fans regularly dance the “Poznan”. The dance, closely linked to Manchester City, Liams and Noel’s favorite club, works like this: back to the stage, put arms on the shoulders of the secondary people and jump up and down together.
Oasis: The Poznan must be
The tradition also remained alive in Toronto. Gallagher himself even gave the audience a small guide. In videos shared online you can hear that he initially reported on a warning that he received: “Good luck tonight to move this Canadian to the Poznan.”
“He said that they were all a little shy, a bit fearful, and they are now smoking all grass, they are all totally known,” said Gallagher. “So and then we want to prove the opposite or what?”
Then he explained the process: “Do not be the first to let the team down! Turn around, you turn up a pill up there on these stupid stands, which took a pill about 30 minutes ago. Place your arms around each other, cuddle together and just jump up and down. It is very simple.”
On the whole they understood it:
The stadium had danced to Poznan a few weeks ago at the five Wembley shows-including Dua Lipa and Jarvis Cocker in the middle of the fray. At the shows in Edinburgh, Oasis also tribute their club Manchester City several times: with a papk figure by coach Pep Guardiola on stage.
The tour continues
After Toronto we continued to Chicago on Thursday (August 28). The band also appears in East Rutherford, Pasadena and Mexico City. Cage the Elephant are there. Afterwards there are two last Wembley evenings and concerts in South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
