– Open, very nuanced and mellow nose with dried fruit, toasty spiciness and budding leatheriness. In addition to the aromas of the fragrance, the rather rich taste has a soft earthy earthiness, herbaceousness and nuances of ripe dark berries. Soft tannins and ripe berry acidity support the whole. The multi-hued and lively aftertaste is gently mouthwatering, herbal and excitingly floral, the jury describes the winning wine.
Food recommendation: A versatile wine to accompany aromatic dark meat dishes and hard, salty cheeses.
Price-quality: A find, excellent value for money
