Helsinki-Hall’s new name is Veikkaus Arena.
Live Nation Finland, which runs the hall, announced the new name of the long-known multifunctional arena as a Hartwall Arena.
-Live Nation Finland and Veikkaus have signed a ten-year name agreement, which will give the iconic Helsinki Arena a new name: Veikkaus Arena, Live Nation says.
Live Nation has signed a 20 -year lease on the operation of Arena. The hall will open again in September and can accommodate 15,500 people.
According to Live Nation, the first events and concerts of the arena will soon be announced. In addition, there are discussions about the possible sports use of the arena.
The former Hartwall Arena was long known as the Joker home hall. There were also hockey World Championships.
