You read that right! From Zoetermeer you drive 289 kilometers and step out into a white world (if it has snowed of course). Where can you find this ski slope? With our southern neighbors in the Walloon town of Ovifat.
Ski slopes in Belgium
The ski slope in Ovifat is not the only one. You can also visit Val de Wanne, Mont de Brumes, Lierneux, Spa and Baraque de Fraiture. All these slopes are located in Wallonia. As you will understand, these are not kilometers of mountain slopes, but short slopes in the hilly landscape. We have listed them for you!
Ovifat

Le Monty – Lierneux

The Baraque de Fraiture ski area has 2 kilometers of slopes, three lifts and a height difference of 85 meters. This is the highest ski area in Belgium, at 650 meters above sea level. A day pass costs 12 euros for adults and 10 euros for children up to 11 years old.
Mont de Brumes
Mont de Brumes has 1.1 kilometers of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. Winter sports enthusiasts have access to three lifts, including a drag lift and pancake lifts. This winter sports area is located at an altitude of 350 to 530 meters, which results in a height difference of 180 meters. A day ticket costs 25 euros.
Thier des Rexhons – Spa
