One person’s favorite is many people’s big dislike, for which they change the radio channel quickly. This is evident from the ABC chain’s Christmas traffic survey, which surveyed favorite and disliked Christmas carols for car journeys.
They received the most favorite mentions Have a tough Christmas -album songs. Heavy Christmas is a music project where heavy versions of traditional Christmas carols have been made. The first album was released in 2004, but since then several albums with the same theme have been released and new versions of the songs have been made.
Definitely disgusted
In the same survey, the songs from “Heavy Christmas” were also voted as the second worst Christmas music for car journeys. Heavy Christmas music therefore divides opinions very strongly.
Also by the band Wham Last Christmas and a traditional Finnish Christmas carol A sparrow on Christmas morning can be found in the top five of both favorite and dislike songs.
However, according to those who answered the survey, the car radio gets silent the fastest when Juice Leskinen Swine start ringing. The song clearly received the most mentions and rose to the top of the dislike list.

The Christmas traffic survey was carried out among the S group’s customer base at the end of 2025. The total number of respondents was 1,379, and 637 of them answered the question about favorite and disliked songs. Respondents could write their favorite and disliked songs in the open answer field.
