At lunch, the three most popular pizza fillings in Finns are ham, pineapple and pepperoni sausage.
When a Finn eats pizza for lunch, it is most likely to have ham and pineapple, according to Edenred’s study. The study was conducted using Kotipizza statistics.
Of the different pizzas, Americana, or ham-pineapple-blue cheese is an absolute favorite for lunch. It is the most popular single pizza not only nationwide but also locally in Helsinki, Tampere, Turku and Jyväskylä, the release states.
– There is a difference in lunch pizzas in what Finns otherwise prefer filling. Otherwise, blue cheese is one of the most popular toppings, Edenred’s working life expert Laura Lahtinen says in the bulletin.
Finland’s most popular lunch pizza is Americana. The second most popular is Tropicana, the third most popular Special Opera.
