Here are the Miss Finland 2022 semi-finalists

The Miss Finland 2022 semi-finalists have been selected. The mission organization says there were a record number of applicants this year. They will compete in the semifinals:

Adelaide Botty van den Bruele, 26, Sonkajärvi

Profession? I work as an entrepreneur and yoga teacher. I sell luxury second-hand bags. Ecological fashion is my passion.

Previous racing experience? I have no previous racing experience.

Why did you apply for the competition? I feel ready to realize my dream since childhood. I want to show that anyone can do this despite their background or unpleasant experiences.

Sheila Da Costa, 27, Tampere

Profession? I am an oral hygienist by profession, as well as a nurse. My dream for the future would be to one day set up my own dental clinic.

Previous racing experience? I am Miss Tampere 2018. It was a great and educational experience. Previous racing experience helped, but of course different races are always their own challenge.

Sandra Fernandes, 23, Helsinki

Profession? I work as a clothing retailer. It’s wonderful to be able to positively impact people’s day by being kind and considerate. It’s rewarding. In the future, I would like to go to study social sciences.

Previous racing experience? I have no previous racing experience.

Iida Hynnilä, 26, Tampere

Profession? I am a social psychologist by training. I have also completed solution-focused short-term therapist training during my studies. The mental health backgrounds of my loved ones have influenced my career choice. I want to help people in difficult situations, and be supportive of those who need it.

Previous racing experience? I started competing in the 2018 Miss Ylöjärvi competition. I also participated in the Miss Hämeenlinna competition in 2019, which I won. I participated in the Miss Tourism Planet competition in Greece in 2021. I got Miss Press from there & Miss Friendship Acknowledgments. Miss Finland has always been a dream.

Petra Hämäläinen, 26 years old, Savonlinna

Profession? I have a bachelor’s degree in education. After completing my master’s degree, I graduate as a classroom and home economics teacher.

Previous racing experience? In 2015, I competed in the Elite Model Look competition, which is held internationally. I am the 2012 Miss Model of the World, whose representative was sent to China. Unfortunately, I was still too young to leave, so the runner-up took part in those races.

Ella Kangas, 21 years old, Turku

Profession? I graduated as a student.

Previous racing experience? I am Miss Turku 2021. In the Miss Eloweena competition (2020) I won the public vote.

Melike Karakaya, 26 years old, Vantaa

Profession? I work in an import company for marketing and HR. I have my own company where I help other companies with their marketing. I am self-educated, so it has been important to stay so-called. with a wave brush. Google and Youtube are your favorite books. My dream is to one day be a full-time entrepreneur.

Previous little experience? I have no previous racing experience.

Oona Komi, 23 years old, Vantaa

Profession? I work as a full-time entrepreneur in my own company (Komi Media). I also do digital marketing and social media for different companies, as well as my own channels.

Previous little experience? I am the reigning Miss Helsinki from 2021.

Lea Lehtovaara, 20 years old, Turku

Profession? I graduated as a student.

Previous racing experience? I have no experience in other races.

Jenna Liiti, 26 years old, Hämeenlinna

Profession? I work in a restaurant as a shift manager.

Previous racing experience? I participated in the Miss Hämeenlinna competition in 2017. In 2019, I was the second heritage princess in the Miss MP competition.

Ella Lännistö, 21, Turku

Profession? I graduated as a student.

Previous racing experience? I have no previous racing experience. The Golden Ticket redeemed at Miss Finland Casting felt incredibly great, I don’t know a better way to go and pursue my dream.

Merimaaria Marttila, 24, Oulu

Profession? I am studying to become a tradenoma, Entrepreneur Women’s Clothing Store Fashion Maaria

Previous racing experience? Miss Eloweena

Henniina Määttä, 20, Oulu

Profession? Seller, model and promoter. I am studying to become a tradenoma in the field of entrepreneurship. I dream of entrepreneurship in the future.

Previous racing experience? There is no previous racing experience. However, I have experience in modeling and training, both in Finland and around the world.

Jenni Nenonen, 22 years old, Jyväskylä

Profession? Gold and jewelry salesman, I want to interact with people in my job.

Previous racing experience? Savon Sanomat’s Midsummer Maiden 2020. I went to the race to get experience, Miss Finland has always been my goal.

Nana Partanen, 23, Helsinki

Profession? Entrepreneur, nail technician and beautician. I started light entrepreneurship at the age of 17 and became an entrepreneur at the age of 21.

Previous racing experience? I competed for the Miss Tourism International title at the age of 19. A memorable experience and good lessons were left.

Emmi Pekkanen, 23, Lahti

Profession? Customer advisor, investment-oriented contact person

Previous racing experience? I have no previous racing experience, but I feel that the best lunch for the race brings the lessons and experiences that come through life.

Henrika Päkkilä, 25 years old, Oulu

Profession? Event manager, entrepreneur

Previous racing experience? Is not

Jenina Rautionaho, 24, Tampere

Profession? I am a cosmetologist by profession. The last few years have passed away as a cosmetics seller, which I dropped out of when I knew I was going to apply for the competition and I want to invest in this completely. I’ve also been a business name entrepreneur and the fire for entrepreneurship and that own thing is tough and that’s what I want to do in the future.

Previous racing experience? In 2016 I participated in a race in Rovaniemi called Arctic Lapland Rally girl – which I won! By the way, I have done various descriptions and promotion chores.

Emilia Vuopala, 23 years old, Kirkkonummi

Profession? I am an entrepreneur in the beauty industry. I have established a business name last year after working for several years in customer service and looking for and building the courage to start realizing my own dreams. I am trained e.g. as a make-up artist and fashion marketing professional, always working while studying. I have always been ambitious and eager to learn something new, which is why I have found it the most suitable way to study alongside my work and thus constantly develop my skills. Entrepreneurship, with all its opportunities and challenges, has proven to be the most natural way to work.

Previous racing experience? Is not. The Miss Finland competition is the first competition I have participated in and I also brewed this decision for a long time. Although the dream and the state of mind have always been present, I only left for the race when I felt mentally ready for the challenges it brought, and confident and mature enough to represent myself, the Miss Finland organization and Finland on the big and important issues.

Karoliina Vettenniemi, 24 years old, Espoo

Profession? Personnel Planner. I study adult education. Personnel management and the development of individual and community skills are of particular interest through studies. I love working with people and being close to people is the basis of my work in staff positions as well as in miss positions.

Previous racing experience? Yes. In 2017, I participated in the Miss Europe competition in Italy and in Finland I participated in the Fitness Cover girl competitions in Finland.

Finals in September

This year, too, the semi-finalists, as well as the competitors reaching the finals, will have the opportunity to do important work in the spirit of the charity campaign. Each mission chooses a site that is relevant to it, and implements a successful and load-bearing project around it.

The More than Beauty Academy training week for semifinalists includes lectures, exercises and activities organized by a number of iron professionals, which broadly reinforce the candidates’ self-knowledge, as well as the certainty of performance.

During the busy week, the series On the Way to Finland will be filmed, hosted by the reigning Miss Finland, Essi Unkuri.

On the way to Miss Finland, the five-part series will start in week 33 on AlfaTV.

The Miss Finland 2022 final gala will be broadcast live on AlfaTV on September 17.
