Herbert Grönemeyer is coming to Frankfurt! A good two weeks ago, Herbert Grönemeyer started his 2023 live tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland. After ten indoor concerts in Germany and Vienna, his stadium appearances are now beginning. On June 2nd, he will be making a stop at Frankfurt’s Deutsche Band Park. On the tour, Herbert Grönemeyer will present his new album “Das ist los” in addition to numerous classics. It is the artist’s 16th studio album and was released on March 24, 2023.

Herbert Grönemeyer will play a total of four open-air concerts with his band this June. It starts this Friday (June 2, 2023) in Frankfurt. On Saturday (June 3, 2023) he will be performing at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig. After the concert in Leipzig, Grönemeyer and his band will play in the Berlin Waldbühne for two days. The tour ends on June 9th in the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen.

As support acts, Grönemeyer has the singer-songwriters Balbina and Schmyt with him on his “Das ist los Tour 2023”.

Tickets are available at Eventim starting at 55.50 euros (standing room). Depending on the rank, seats cost between 62.40 and 100.35 euros.

Getting there:

The Deutsche Bank Park can be reached easily and barrier-free with the S-Bahn. This only takes six minutes from Frankfurt Central Station. To do this, take the S-Bahn S8 or S9 in the direction of “Mainz” or “Wiesbaden” or the S7 in the direction of “Goddelau” to the station “Stadion” in the underground station of Frankfurt Central Station. The S7 line departs from the platforms for regional and long-distance traffic. On the day of the concert, in addition to tram line 21, special trains run on line 20 in front of the main train station every 3 minutes to the “Stadion” station.

It is recommended to travel by public transport as parking spaces around Deutsche Bank Park are very limited. With the admission ticket, concertgoers can travel free of charge with the public transport of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsbund five hours before the event until the end of operation.

Parking the car:

Concert-goers coming from outside of Frankfurt should take the A3 or A5 to the Frankfurter Kreuz. There, simply follow the signs with the stadium symbol, which lead to one of the four car parks.

From the city center you drive over the Main bridges to Sachsenhausen and then over the Kennedyallee out of town to the Oberforsthaus. There you can already see the distributors to the parking lots. The parking fee is five euros.
