Shock for tens of thousands of fans of Herbert Grönemeyer (66, “Human”). The musician canceled his open-air tour “20 Years Man” completely and without replacement on Wednesday. The reason: Gröni has Corona! The tour should start on Thursday in Hanover. Three concerts were planned in the Berlin Waldbühne.

The management announced on Wednesday: “Despite all precautionary measures, we were not spared from the virus. Unfortunately, the virus has unfortunately also infected staff, band members and Herbert.”

It continues: “Everyone here is deeply disappointed that we sadly have to cancel this tour and cannot play the concerts. We are very, very sorry, especially for all the people who wanted to come and for all the inconvenience it causes.

After more than two years of the strictest isolation and endurance tests during rehearsals, this is extremely bitter and devastating. According to the situation, Herbert and the others are feeling weird, a mixture of sadness, anger and virus.

The open-air tour would have taken Grönemeyer to Hanover, Gelsenkirchen, Berlin, Leipzig, Hamburg and Munich.

The concerts in Berlin would have taken place on May 31, June 1 and 3. Tickets can be returned at the respective pre-sale points.
