HENSOLDT has raised and specified its expectations for the current 2025 financial year. In addition to the HENSOLDT share, the securities of Rheinmetall and RENK also benefit from this.

As the company announced on Thursday evening, the board of HENSOLDT AG has approved several procurement projects based on recent and foreseeable parliamentary approvals Bundeswehr and an updated assessment of the expected incoming orders and operational utilization, the capital market-related outlook was adjusted.

Accordingly, HENSOLDT now expects a significantly higher book-to-bill ratio, which should now be between 1.6 and 1.9 of sales instead of around 1.2. The expected sales are specified within the previous range and should amount to around 2,500 million euros. The adjusted EBITDA margin has also been specified and is expected to reach 18 percent or above.

The book-to-bill ratio shows the ratio of orders received to sales revenue generated within a certain period of time and is considered an important indicator of future business development. The adjusted EBITDA margin, in turn, is a key figure used by HENSOLDT that is adjusted for special effects. Detailed explanations can be found in the company’s annual report and quarterly documents.

The updated forecast is subject to industry-standard assumptions and risks. These include, among other things, the timely entry into force of the planned resolutions, timely contract signing and implementation, necessary official approvals, the availability of materials and components and the economic stability of the suppliers. Geopolitical and macroeconomic factors can also influence developments. In addition, incoming orders and sales may vary over time.

HENSOLDT shares in demand – shares from Rheinmetall and RENK also higher

On XETRA, the HENSOLDT share was temporarily at 98.60 euros on Friday morning, around 1.97 percent above its XETRA close. The shares of the other German defense companies Rheinmetall and RENK are also increasing. While Rheinmetall shares rose by 0.99 percent to 1,783.50 euros, RENK shares temporarily rose by 0.92 percent to 65.87 euros.
