Danny de Munk is in serious trouble now that he has been charged with rape. The singer himself denies everything, but can think of no reason why his alleged victim would lie about it. In the meantime, he receives support from many celebrities, including Wolter Kroes, Tineke de Nooij, Frans Duijts and Hans Klok.

Now Henny Huisman also joins that list. “When I heard the news about Danny, I was shocked. I don’t know him other than a decent boy, and I know him quite well,” says the former TV star in the weekly magazine Story.

Danny would never do anything like rape, Henny explains. “Danny proposed to his wife Jenny in my television program De 1, 2, 3 Show. He’s a good, nice guy. †

“Very crazy!”

It’s raining rape victims, Henny grumbles. “The report surprises me. It is now starting to get very crazy that all kinds of stories are coming up that would have happened fifteen, twenty years ago.”

“You also notice it in the reactions from the public. Marco Borsato was the first to be charged, now Danny again. People are like: yes, it will be. But even if he is innocent, the damage has been done…”
