Hennes & Mauritz opens the first Arket store in Paris

The Swedish clothing group Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M) opens an Arket store in Paris. The flagship in the French capital is scheduled to open in the fall, the company announced on Friday.

The clothing supplier is thus further promoting the internationalization of the brand. In the past year, branches have already opened in China and Russia as well as an online shop South Korea.

The Paris store will offer the brand’s current collections for women, men and children, as well as interior and body care products. The Arket café will also be located under the roof of the new branch.

“It’s the perfect place to showcase the brand and offer our customers a true Arket experience,” says Arket Managing Director Pernilla Wohlfahrt. “We want to welcome people into our world and inspire them with the diversity of our collections, which are tailored to the needs of a modern wardrobe.”

The brand’s first store opened in London in 2017. The label now has 25 physical stores in Europe, China and Korea. In Germany, Arket operates branches in Munich, Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin. The online shop is available in 30 European markets, Russia and Korea.
