Henkjan Smits thinks it is very good that The Harbor Club has decided to cancel the Glennis Grace concert. He thinks that is a logical decision after her fight in the Jumbo.

Glennis Grace already had a vulgar image, but after her fight at the Jumbo, most people seem a bit done with the Whitney Houston impersonator. The Harbor Club has now also removed her from the concert agenda. A very wise decision, says NPO Radio 5-dj Henkjan Smits in the podcast Off the Record

No aggression in the house

When asked whether Henkjan thinks it is a good thing that Glennis is cancelled, he says: “With the reason of The Harbor Club, yes, of: ‘We also don’t want guests who are aggressive or try to solve things with their hands. . We never ever want aggression in the house and neither do people who practice it.’”

As far as Henkjan is concerned, Glennis is guilty until proven otherwise. Until she is acquitted, Glennis is very suspicious. Then she can still sing very well, but I can very well imagine that you are thinking at the moment: she is not welcome here for a while.”

Henk Westbroek to that: “I can imagine that very well.”

incomprehensible

Henkjan finds it incomprehensible that Glennis has been fighting in the Jumbo. “I don’t understand that if your 15-year-old son is drinking an e-cigarette in a supermarket and then comes home saying: ‘John, I wasn’t even allowed to smoke!’ the supermarket staff. I do not understand…”

Apparently Glennis does not have her son completely under control anyway, Henkjan then wants to say: “I would not like it anyway if my 15-year-old son smokes an e-cigarette.”

Lil Kleine

According to Henkjan, it is also good that there is a line through Lil Kleine. “You just don’t want this to set an example for children aged 13, 14 and 15. That they will find it normal or will find it tough. At Lil Kleine, it always goes one step further. He now glorifies [met zijn nieuwe album] the behavior we all disapprove of.”
