The polls of the Top 900 stopped in Helmond on Wednesday. Resident Henk Bierings came by to hand in his list with his favorite songs. And André Hazes is certainly not on that.
While Jordy Draait Door is busy, Henk cycles onto the Piet Blomplein. He is a big fan of Omroep Brabant and has come especially to pass on his votes for the most beautiful music list.
‘Really a little boy’
Henk knows very well what he will and will not vote for. Especially not on André Hazes. He has a passion for that. “If this artist is played when I’m in the pub, then I can be found in the toilet.”
It is clear in everything that he is not a fan of the Amsterdam singer. “If you break up with a woman for anything and everything and also show aggression, but then go and cry on television, then you are really a little boy”, says Henk firmly.
Henk heart of Volendam
Henk has a warm heart for Volendam. His list breathes the eel sound. “I’m a real The Cats fan, from Lea and One Way Wind until Be My Day.” But Henk’s real number 1 is Sailing Home by Piet Veerman. “I heard the song for the first time and it was an instant hit. I really have something special with it.”
