Freestyle superstar Colby Covington, 36, hurt his back badly at the UFC Fight Night event in Tampa.
The former interim champion of the intermediate division lost to a younger challenger For Joaquin Buckley30, when the doctor stopped the match at the end of the third period.
Buckley had boxed Covington’s face in such a condition that it would have been dangerous for the ex-champion to continue the match.
