Hélène Hendriks replaces sick Johnny de Mol, HLF8 remains megaflop

Hélène Hendriks took over the presentation of the talk show HLF8 yesterday, because Johnny de Mol is quite ill. It has no effect on the viewing figures: they remain as low as ever.

There is only one reason that the talk show HLF8 is still on the air: presenter Johnny de Mol is the boss’s son. Night after night, the program achieves dramatic viewing figures. Even with someone else in his place, Hélène Hendriks, the program failed to score yesterday. 307 thousand people (6%) watched the broadcast on SBS 6.

HLF8 causes dip

Every evening HLF8 causes a big dip in the programming of SBS 6. Long Live De Liefde immediately attracted 515 thousand viewers (12%) and URK! managed to charm 697 thousand viewers (12%) afterwards. It is clear that this situation is not sustainable. The men of VI Today have already announced that they would like to move to Johnny’s time.

The most watched talk show of the evening was De Avondshow with Arjen Lubach with 1.3 million viewers (30%) on NPO 1. This is followed by Op1 (885 thousand and 34%), M (842 thousand and 18%), Jinek (836 thousand and 20%) and VI Today (744 thousand and 14%).

Radar on one

Antoinette Hertsenberg takes gold on prime time with 1.4 million viewers (24%) for her program Radar. Immediately afterwards, Spoorloos attracted 1.3 million viewers (24%). This made NPO 1 by far the big favorite at prime time.

RTL 4 takes silver with 933 thousand viewers (16%) for Help My Man Is Klusser on RTL 4 and NPO 3 takes bronze with 891 thousand viewers (15%) for Hunted VIPS. This is followed by SBS 6 with URK! (697 thousand viewers and 12%) and the aforementioned VI Today.

Viewing figures

Programs that did not reach the top fifteen viewing figures include Nieuwsuur (692 thousand), Hart van Nederland (522 thousand), Shownieuws (375 thousand), 112 Today (215 thousand) and Deal or no Deal (170 thousand).
