Just before the broadcast of her talk show, Hélène Hendriks gave a big and passionate hug to Fidan Ekiz, Wilfred Genee’s biggest TV enemy. How does he view that?
It is no secret that Fidan Ekiz is on the blacklist of Today Inside because Wilfred Genee never wants to see or speak to her again. He pukes on that woman because she once interviewed him critically in Op1, while as her mentor he apparently expected preferential treatment. It led to an extremely violent shouting match after the broadcast.
Big hug
Fidan is therefore not welcome in flagship VI, but is welcome in the other conservative shows of SBS 6, namely Nieuws van de Dag and last night in De Oranjewinter. In it we saw how hostess Hélène Hendriks gave a very big hug to Fidan, the woman who is considered Wilfred’s biggest TV enemy, just before the broadcast.
Does Wilfred see this as betrayal? After all, Hélène has grown up thanks to VI and now she is suddenly cuddling with his arch enemy. Hélène and Fidan also have a good time during the live broadcast. Hilarity even ensues when fellow table guest Hans Kraay Jr. accidentally calls her Fidel Ekiz, instead of Fidan Ekiz.
Giggles
Hélène jokingly asks Fidan if she is going to giggle all evening again, since, according to some NRC lady, she also did that at Nieuws van de Dag. “Fidel, you’re not going to be here giggling all night, are you?”
Fidan: “I think I’m going to giggle all evening. I know what you mean.”
Hélène: “And also focus on the lower abdomen?”
Fidan: “Well, shall we?”
A bit bland
Hélène asks Fidan if she is touched by such an NRC lady. “It was mainly about Fidel, who was giggling. A bit lame, right, after one broadcast?”
Fidan: “Yes, sue meI thought. I had to laugh. I think we should laugh a lot more in this country anyway, right? I think so.”
